Bosworth Battlefield Heritage Centre and Country Park
has won a prestigous national award, known as the Oscars of the Museums World. Now in its seventh year, The Museums and Heritage Awards for Excellence recognise and celebrate the best practice within museums, galleries and heritage visitor attractions across the UK. Bosworth Battlefield, run by Leicestershire County Council, won the Classic Award open to any museum, gallery and heritage attraction established for 10 years or more. Bosworth beat a shortlist of six including the Natural History Museum, National Museums Liverpool and the Cabinet War Rooms. |
