Kingswood announce multi-million pound development
Kingswood Educational Activity Centres has purchased Grosvenor Hall, the former police training centre in Ashford, for the development of a new educational activity centre. The 50 acre site is planned to open in March 2010, following a multi-million pound development.
Intended as a high standard in terms of education and adventure, Grosvenor Hall will offer the kind of LoTC (Learning Outside the Classroom) experience that has already been a successful formula at other Kingswood centres across the United Kingdom. Grosvenor Hall will be Kingswood’s tenth UK centre aiming to provide courses designed to suit Key Stage 2 pupils to A Level students. Educational courses will be run alongside activities and will aim to satisfy parts of the curriculum that may be difficult to cover in a classroom environment.
